Q: Are you for real?
A: Yes.
Q: You claim to have the best broadband service in the UK?
A: Yes.
Q: How much does the service cost?
A: If you are connected to one of the 800 exchanges we have our our LLU kit installed in, the cost is £35 +VAT /month. If not, the cost is £55 +VAT /month.
Q: What speeds do you support?
A: As fast as the line will go, currently up to 24mbps depending on your exchange. We have equipment in over 800 UK exchanges.
Q: What is your AUP (Acceptable Usage Policy)?
A: Don't do anything stupid or illegal.
A: We have secure VPN exits in Switzerland and Sweden. Customers can use these whenever they want extra privacy. Refer to the AUP above.
Q: Can I just buy your VPN service, and keep my own broadband provider?
A: Yes. £15 +VAT /month
Q: If I use your VPN will my ISP / the government / MIB be able to snoop my connection?
A: No, they will just see a secure link to our VPN exit. They cannot see the content of your traffic, and neither can we.
Q: Can I connect to your VPN using multiple computers at the same time?
A: You can only use one connection at a time; you can purchase as many accounts as you like though. Note that some routers have issues handling multiple VPNs to the same destination.
Q: Do you know your service costs more than $BROADBAND_PROVIDER?
A: Yes.
Q: Do I get any freebies with your broadband product, like a PS3 or a laptop or free calls to the moon, or a hat, or anything?
A: No.
Q: How long is the broadband contract?
A: One month, rolling. One month's notice if you want to cancel.
Q: Are there any setup fees?
A: If you come to us with a MAC code, no. If you have no MAC code, it's £50 +VAT to set up a new connection.
Q: How do I pay for the service?
A: We bill quarterly in advance; you can pay by Bank Transfer or cash. Other ways to pay are available; ask us.
Q: I own my own domain and want a DNS entry for my broadband line. Can I do this?
A: Yes.
Q: Do you have an SMTP server?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I have more than one IP address?
A: Yes.
Q: What about support?
A: If you really need help you can call or email us - no callcentre goons.
Q: You know that your website sucks?
A: People with macs have told us that actually it doesn't.
